Important Note on Compatibility: While they’ve worked hard to maintain project library compatibility with DaVinci Resolve 19.1.3, projects created or opened in Resolve 20 will NOT be accessible in 19.1.3. Back up your project libraries AND individual projects before diving in!
Here’s a breakdown of the exciting new features and bug fixes in Beta 3:
New Features:
- Chroma Warp Support in Advanced Panel: The DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panel’s tools menu now supports Chroma Warp.
- Editable MultiText Layer Names: Now you can edit MultiText layer names directly in the inspector.
- Source Tape Visibility: The edit page source timeline view now shows the source tape.
- Improved Source Key Functionality: The Edit keyboard Source key now recalls the last edit page source viewer mode.
- HDR Report Enhancement: The HDR report now includes a MaxCLL MaxFALL graph.
- GPU Accelerated Encoding: GPU-accelerated interlaced H.264 encodes are now available on Nvidia Blackwell GPUs.
- Scripting API Enhancements: New scripting API support for linking full-resolution media and replacing media pool clips while preserving sub-clip extents.
Bug Fixes:
